		<description>@Matt Freeman, no. Softlayer bandwidth between datacenters is NOT charged to your bandwidth limits. They (Softlayer) provide you with a completely independent gigabit network (usually serviced by Cogent). They also provide you with a PPTP or IPSEC (PPTP is free, IPSEC is $$), VPN tunnel that connects over the private network, allowing you to completely block off all administration traffic from your front end network, closing many common security holes.

P.S. - I don&#039;t work for Softlayer, but I&#039;ve been a SL user for 6 years, and have sworn by them every minute.</description>
